Stewart graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. His has a broad range of experience in engineering, surveying and commercial/industrial construction. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors and has a passion for hunting.
Mr. McCormick is the Water Resource Manager with Land Design and Development, Inc. He has served numerous large and small communities in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Ohio with stormwater quality and quantity / flood control design, consulting and utility management services since 1992. Chad is a Certified Floodplain Manager and licensed Professional Engineer in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.
Chad is active in his community; serving on several boards in Oldham County. As a youth he earned the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Award. He enjoys many outdoor activities with his wife and two children including camping, hiking and SCUBA diving (proposing to his wife 87 feet underwater).
Ken’s primary job is sanitary sewer design and approval processing. He has over 25 years experience in the field and has been working with LDD for over 15 years. Ken chose this industry because of his interest in construction design in general. “I love the art of mapping.” Hobbies include fishing and barbecuing.
Bridget has been working with LDD for over 12 years and has over 25 years experience in the field. Bridget received her education and training at University of Louisville and Kentucky Polytechnic Institute.
Beth, a Civil Engineer Computer Technician, loves watching how the industry has changed the past 25 years and helping to train the future engineers. She “takes the design from the engineers and designers and puts the pieces together so that someone can look at the plans and build it”. Beth enjoys seeing how things are put together, the thought process behind it, and procedures it takes to accomplish it. “Deep down I am really a construction geek.” With the exception of when she was riding her Harley, Beth’s hobbies usually involve building something; needlework (all kinds), sewing, paper arts, crocheting, gardening, and cooking.
Travis joined LDD in 2014 and has over 10 years experience in the field. He received his education at ITT-Technical Institute graduating with an Associate of Science degree, Computer Aided Drafting and Design.
Mike joined LD&D in 2017 and has more than 18 years of experience in the land planning field in both the public and private sectors. Mike’s public sector experience includes time with Louisville Metro Planning & Design Services, Oldham County Planning & Development Services and the Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and City & Regional Planning in 1999 and became a member of The American Institute of Certified Planners in 2004.
Ann has worked with LDD for over 15 years and has over 25 years experience in the field. She received her education, Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, from the University of Kentucky and Master Degree in Urban Planning, from the University of Louisville. Ann primarily works on land planning matters such as site design and working with municipalities on insuring a proposed development is compliant with local regulations while providing developers with a product that meets with their satisfaction. When asked why she picked this industry,Ann said she wanted to work with the environment, landscape and the land. She enjoys the challenge of solving the problems involved with land development.
Bianca has a Bachelor in Architecture and Urban Design from the Mackenzie University in São Paulo, Brazil. Her professional experience includes several years as Manager Architect at the famous Latin American Landscape Company, Benedito Abbud. She lived in several other places before her final move to Louisville and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Bianca has worked at LDD since 2017.
Brian joined LD&D in the spring of 2016. In addition to being a Professional Land Surveyor, Brian has over 15 years experience in this industry. Brian says he always had a knack for mathematics and related fields. He first began working on a survey crew. He went to night school and received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Drafting and later an AutoCAD Technician. Brian is also a Licensed Surveyor in Kentucky.
Education at ITT Technical Institute with an Associate of Science Degree, Computer Aided Drafting and Design. As the Survey Department’s drafter, Troy enjoys working on the big projects. He is a self proclaimed Fantasy Football Guru as well as being Thumb War Champion!
